Getting out of the comfort zone

Success is usually on the other side of your comfort zone. You usually get the feeling to step out of your comfort zone but the resistance is usually too great and you end up falling back to your old habits.
In programming, the same applies. You might be good in coding in a particular language and you have mastered your craft, but if you don't take on new challenges and set out time to learn new things, you'll become 'outdated'.
Set small achievable goals, Have a journal to write your thoughts(I'm old-school) and always be willing to learn. Remember nothing good comes easy.
