Hey IST 210!
My name is Katie Connor, I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Security Risk Analysis. I become interested in the tech field in middle school through a few programming courses that were offered at my school. Throughout high school I took a variety of computer based classes and knew I wanted to major in something IST related in college.
Coming into college I started of majoring in Data Science, after the first semester I immediately knew I did not want to continue with that major. Second semester I took two SRA classes and knew I liked learning about the more analytic and security side of IST rather than the data and math side. I’m hoping to find a job either with the government or a large company doing something with cyber security.
I'm looking forward to working with everyone throughout this class.
