Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results is insane.
Since my free time is insufficient to support all the things I want to do, but I still need to complete a lot of learning and preparation for a career transition within a year, I’ve been thinking about tasks that can be accomplished in a short amount of time (within a few months).
To achieve my goals of a higher salary and remote work opportunities, I’ve looked into the current market trends and found that SRE positions have more openings. Therefore, I plan to focus on obtaining an AWS Architect Solution certification whenever I have time. Even if I don’t end up working in a related field, mastering cloud services is advantageous for software development or any other IT-related job.
Since I already use cloud services regularly, I think this is the most time-efficient way to achieve maximum results.
I’ve subscribed to Educative.io, and there’s a 20-hour course called
*Master AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner CLF-C02 Exam
* that I plan to complete first.
Preparing for a certification has a more defined scope compared to leetcode, system design, or side projects, which makes it easier to see progress within a limited time. (Of course, I’ll continue working on the other areas as well.)
