I continue to code in 2019 because...

I've been doing so for over 11 years (and then some. Hi Myspace...and GeoCities!) I changed my major from music performance to IT in 2008. I went from a major where it was a majority of women to one that was a majority of men. It's been amazing to see the changes in tech since then and to see the growth and interest of women in tech. It's 2019 and things are only getting better. I'm learning more, and finally in a position where I CAN learn more and am better supported.
