Dell laptop Camera is always black

I own a new Dell laptop, which of course, I never read the manuals.

Wanting to keep it updated, I noticed there were some suggested updates to the bios. The download and install went smoothly.

But later I noticed my Camera wasn't working, it was just showing "Black" nothingness.

I called Dell, and they figured it out immediately.

See the plastic bumps where the arrow is pointing? That is the new built-in camera door. I had somehow closed it without knowing.

Solution: Open the camera door.
