My Journey with Eclipse Adoptium: An Unforgettable Experience
Have you ever heard of Eclipse Temurin? If not, then you're in for a treat. Eclipse Temurin is an open-source platform designed for enterprise Java (openJDK) applications that provides an improved runtime environment for applications running on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). I have the opportunity to participate in a training program provided by Adoptium, and I have to say, it is one of the most enriching experiences of my life.
The My program is run by three of the most amazing mentors I have ever met: Shelley, Wen, and Andrew. These mentors not only have extensive knowledge of Eclipse Adoptium technologies, but they also have passion for teaching and helping others. Their dedication to their students is truly inspiring, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn from them.
During the program, I'm learning a lot about the various features of Eclipse Adoptium projects, including its ability to optimize Java applications for improved performance, as well as its support for cloud-native deployments. I've been able to gain hands-on experience with the platform, which allowes me to truly understand its capabilities.
Aside from the technical aspects, I was also introduced to the vibrant community of Adoptium users and developers. Being part of the community, allows me to attend virtual events and meet people from all over the world who shared my passion for technology. This is a fantastic opportunity for me to network and learn from others in the industry.
One of my favorite quotes that I have learned during the program was by Albert Einstein, who once said, "Learning is an experience. Everything else is just information." I believe this quote perfectly sums up my experience so far with Adoptium. The program is not just about learning information, but it is an experience that is allowing me to learn, grow, and connect with others in the industry.
Another fun fact that I have learned during the program is that Eclipse Adoptium projects are currently held and supported Eclipse Foundation, which is known for its popular Java integrated development environment (IDE). This just goes to show the level of expertise and dedication that goes into the development of these projects.
In conclusion, my experience with Adoptium is truly unforgettable. I am grateful to have the opportunity to participate in this program and to learn from the amazing mentors, Shelley, Wen, and Andrew.
If you're a Java developer, I highly recommend giving Eclipse Adoptium a try. You won't regret it.
