We are very proud, that Aisha agreed to be a keynoter for JS Kongress 2020, and are looking forward to an inspiring talk.

Upfront we asked Aisha a few questions so you can get to know her:

Why are you looking forward to JS Kongress?

I’m excited to join the JS Kongress as it’s a community lead and focused event. Unlike stuffy corporate events, I envision JS Kongress to be a warm and inviting space where peers in the industry can gather and exchange ideas, learnings from failures and teach each other new skills.

Have you been to Munich and/or in Germany before?

I used to live in Berlin while working for Corning Incorporated and Market Logic Software for more than 2 years.

What do you especially like at your current position?

I fulfilled a life-long dream, launching an NGO that combines my passions: Africa, technology and youth empowerment. My journey began with Women in Tech Africa — Somaliland Chapter and is continuing with Hayaan Tech, an online community platform to motivate and inspire Somalis to pursue careers in tech.
