I'm just here for the legos! Jokes aside, nice and solid article. I can definitly related in that it often is just better to start and then iterate on your code, as it not only brings knowledge over the problems, but also helps uncover dependencies and unkowns early, just as you said!

I think the first draft of code you write "quickly" is cleaner as you get more experienced. It is a fine line but done is better than perfect.
