a. Sign into azure environment, in the search bar, type "Virtual Machine, select virtual machine, and then click create.
b. On the basic page select your virtual machine parameters, by select the subscription you are using (e.g. Subscription1), choose your Resource group or you can create new one (e.g. WEBRESOURCE), give your VM a name (JosephVMWin), select Region as Esat US, availability zone2, select the security type you want, my image as window.
c. Select the size of your virtual machine from the drop-down or click on "See all
d. Under administrator account Select the password authentication type. ENTER YOUR username and password.
e. Select "Allow selected ports" On the inbound port rules section and then select RDP (3389). This port will give you remote access to your physical work desktop computers.
f. Select Standard SSD or any disk type of your choice as shown below. Leave the other columns as default, as well as the networking, management, monitoring and advanced pages as default. Skip to the page.
g. Next, click on Review+create, and Review the summary of your virtual machine configuration and click create.
h. Once the deployment is complete, go to Vm by clicking go to resource.
Connect to Your Windows Virtual Machine
Connecting to your VM through RDP connection.
a. Click on connect on the overview page
b. Connect to the VM using RDP, leave the default settings, you can use the RDP from your system or you can download RDP file from the Connect page belo. to your system.
Use your system RDP by entering the IP address as computer name and click connect.
c. Input your username and password.
d. Click yes, then the josephVMWin window is opened.
