Do you use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) services to build websites or do you program them from raw coding languages like HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript?
If you know me, you'll know that I love free to use solutions and back when I started learning how to build websites the most free way was to code them. When I started I would use Notepad (text editor) to write them, save them as an '.html' file, and also edit them the same way. Over the years I've tried several different drag-and-drop and WYSIWYG builders to try and minimize time.
Throughout my experiences I personally always felt like I lost a lot of control and that what I published didn't reflect me as a creator.
Too this day I still use basic text-editors to build web pages and type each line of code by hand.
How do you build? What makes you feel comfortable and most creative? What are your thoughts? 💭
