I'm sorry, I missed the fact that the image is turned upside down (more recent commits are lower), and that arrows follow time rather than actual references (commits points to their parents, not to their children), i.e. they are reversed to what I expected, but what might be not intuitive.
The last image is wrong, you always merge into current branch, so the image certainly does not describe
git merge develop
If you do
git merge develop
into fearure/login image is OK. It points from develop into it so it's good.
