Mornings Are Not the Same

My mornings have turned into the most unproductive moment of my day.

I don’t recall call a moment in my life where I dread getting up in the morning the way I do now. I mean I do but that was a different phase in my life. But never have I dreaded getting up so much to the point where I don’t even get up. Breakfast is lunch. The morning routine is midday routine.

I’ve being staying in bed past 12 but lately it’s been hard to just get up. I have nothing that motivates me strongly to get up. I just woke, laying in the bed wanting to do something, anything. I want something important to do, something that would be effective. Something.

I think about bout what I want to do but nothing that can immediately get me going. A million ideas come to mind. Nothing that I want to immediately do. Nothing that I speaks to the laziness in me.

Sometimes I want to code something but what? I don’t have a personal interest in something that I could turn into a project that involves coding. Other times I just want to do some kind of digital design or just draw.

But I can’t. My motivation is low. My confidence isn’t there. I want more in life. Hell, I just want a job. I say that it doesn’t matter what it is. At this point, pay doesn’t matter. I just want a reason to get out this house.

So I guess it’s time a drastic change. Something has to give and something has to change.

Something big. A change that will be more effective than the past.

One day, it won’t be so bad. I don’t see this anytime soon. But I don’t see it happening at all to be serious. I’m just living in limbo. No purpose. Nothing.

Well, now I’m done complaining, I can now do something about. Sometimes you just got to get everything going wrong in your life off your chest to get to the solution.

The Fix

  • Set new and effective goals.
  • Work in timed sessions.
  • Write down ideas. Get them out my head.
  • Sit down every week and set tasks and events. Evaluate my goals.
  • And most importantly, GET UP!

Anytime I feel that slump feeling coming back I have to refer to this article that I wrote about being productive. This lays out the right approach to be getting shit done.
