To be honest, I came here by pure luck - an English assignment in my bachelor program - but I stayed because of the community! 😇
I feel like it is a safe space were nerds can be nerds, developers can be developers and anyone can be anyone they want to be. It is just a nice corner of the internet where all sorts of techincal and non-technical matters are discussed in a professional way.
So, what do you like most about dev.to? How did you stumble upon it and what was your reason to stay? 🤗

So, you came here be something we as developers commonly know as "lucky little accidents", hm? Or you may also call them features :D
I came here because of an recommendation of my dear mentor and stayed, because of the broad range of topics there are. My special interest in everything blockchain related, I always find something new to read here and I love it! There is so much independent research done and so many nice people around here.
11/10 would always recommend!
Sometimes I feel like everyone on this site is a feature!
So much input, knowledge and nice interaction possibilities - I can clearly see the customer value of everyone around here 😄
For me, it's the ability to write technical content to an established community of my industry peers. I've been blogging since 2002, and the biggest challenge for me has always been building the audience.
Wow since 2002, that is amazing! On which other sites did you blog so far?
LiveJournal, Wordpress, and self hosted. Variety of content but since the 2010s most of my blogging has been technical in nature
Very impressive! Keep up those good posts :)
Mostly I've found that many people were nice here
Meme Monday
Indeed for the community!
People here are so kind, it's easy to get feedback on your own articles and there's also plenty of interesting articles made by the community members :)
Frankly, meme Monday. The community is also really nice!
