A fresh way to use Jira with your browser’s New Tab

Many of us in the tech world are familiar with Jira, the quintessential project management tool.

Personally, I find: most of the time opening Jira for the full information of the ticket unnecessary. So that’s where Wise Dash comes in.

Wise Dash allows you to have an overview of your Jira tickets on the browser’s new tab page. Additionally, Wise Dash integrates with many other third parties to collate and present your data in a personalised dashboard.

So basically, you can think of Wise Dash as the ‘what is my personal overview page’.

Jira Module on Wise Dash, for the Wise Dash example project

Whenever I open my new tab, I can easily see the Jira projects I am working on, with all the active tickets that are assigned to me. I can see the status of the tickets and using the burger menu (I think that's what its called… right?), I can change the status of the ticket.

It is really convenient.

The bonus: A nifty feature of using Wise Dash with the Jira integration is that you have all your other information at an arms length. For example, generally — next to my Jira module is my To Do lists and calendar.

So basically, you can once again think of Wise Dash as offering an overview of your favourite apps and websites and integrating with them all seamlessly.
