Leanpub has been so easy, fantastic royalty setup, etc. Having to go through a publisher - depending on the publisher - can be ALOT of work to even get a book approved (before even starting to write it...).
The benefits of legit publishers are, of course, a much wider reach & the reputation that comes along with the publisher. Albeit, for MUCH more work.
