Today, I spent some quality time with Flexbox, aiming to master it inside and out. My main goal was to get really comfortable with it, and I’m thrilled to say that my project looks almost identical to the specification image—what a bonus! While this site wasn’t designed with Responsive Design in mind, I can already see ways to make it responsive.
This was a solid first start-from-scratch with minimal guidance project. I learned so much from researching and experimenting. It was challenging enough to require focus but still attainable, which reminded me of my time in boot camp (I’m a veteran). Just like in boot camp, larger goals can seem daunting at first, but by breaking them down and pushing through, you realize you’re capable of more than you thought. For me, that’s the essence of coding—learning and growing.
Today’s assignments are on CSS Grid, and while they aren’t particularly exciting at the moment, I’m looking forward to diving in. Thanks to everyone for sharing your coding adventures; you keep me motivated!
