- https://www.wired.com/story/the-style-maven-astrophysicists-of-silicon-valley/ As as physicist, I enjoyed this story about how a scientist can repurpose themselves outside academia. Long-time ago I did hear from an established economist in an academic institution, that he preferred to work with physicists than mathematicians because the former is more practical (result-oriented) than the latter who tend to focus more on generalizing results. Moreover, I'd say that in general astrophysicists tend to be much better prepared to jump into data analytics than "plain" physicists.
