Blocked users' posts featured in "relevant" feed

I have blocked several users, still forem keeps showing me their "x that y MUST do in 2024" posts on top positions of my "relevant" feed which is what the default DEV landing page shows me. Maybe I have to switch to use DEV in write-only mode until that got fixed, to avoid distraction and negative feelings when visiting this site.

Currently it looks like this: there is a huge animated image of a person at a desk in a room, possibly generated with AI tools, that adds no information at all but takes up a lot of screen space. Below are titles announcing so-called "listicles" (see explanation link below) including several emojis that, again, add no value to the content.

Screenshot of my top relevant posts feed as described in the text above.

I pixelated the user names and most of the titles to avoid shaming the wrong people. Some of that sort of content is still good, but most is not.

See The Conundrum of the "Top X" Articles and Should listicles be forced to have a tag so we can hide them from feed? (yes, they should!)

What is your experience? Does your "relevant" feed feel relevant? Do you like listicle posts? Do you hate them? What is your opinion and what would you suggest for a change?

Do you like listicle posts? NO. I don't think they add value at all.

It seems to take some time until the blocking takes effect. When I reload the landing page now, about an hour later, the two annoying posts have gone at last! ....... but when I reload again, those shitposts are back :-(

Sorry about this. We'll look into this blocking bug.

We've also added some new functionality to diminishing clickbait by default, and will be rolling out additional settings to further punish clickbait for those who want stricter filters.
