Introduction:
I have always been fascinated by technology. I love the way it can be used to solve problems and make our lives easier. When I heard about the opportunity to learn full stack development and blockchain technology, I was immediately intrigued.
Why I Joined:
The decision I made to delve into Full-stack Development and Blockchain Development was not an impulsive one. Witnessing the transformative power of these technologies in numerous industries, the need and what it can give Nigeria and Africa at large, I was driven by a desire to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to their continued advancement, especially in solving problems in the healthcare sector. The rapid growth and potential for innovation in both fields sparked my curiosity and motivated me to embark on this journey.
Challenges and Compelling Factors:
Like any other learning endeavor, as a beginner, this course has presented its fair share of challenges. The multifaceted nature of full stack development and the complexities inherent to blockchain technology requires grit, dedication and perseverance. It's been my two weeks of learning through this mentorship program. However, these challenges only served to further ignite my passion and strengthen my resolve to overcome obstacles along the way. The potential to create decentralized and secure systems that can revolutionize industries such as finance, supply chain, and healthcare compelled me to push forward and embrace the difficulties as stepping stones to growth.
Plans and Goals: After completing a blockchain development course that was sponsored by NITDA and Dominium Academy. I aim to acquire a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology, from front-end to back-end development. I'm intrigued by the potential of smart contracts and DApps, and aspire to develop innovative solutions that harness the power of blockchain, especially in the healthcare sector in Nigeria and Africa.
My Mentor:
Having a mentor like Mr Andrew who guides and supports me through this journey has been instrumental so far. My mentor is a professional with extensive experience in both full stack development and blockchain technology. His deep understanding of these domains, coupled with his passion for teaching, has proven invaluable in my learning process so far. He provides insightful feedback, shares practical knowledge, and his calm nature sums it up.
