I might quit.

I'm very sorry I don't think that anyone cares about me on Dev So I might quit. I haven't been posting for awhile now. And I'm sorry. If you think I should stay feel free to tell me. But I just don't have much to do. I've lost ideas. Nothing's helping so far. I check Dev once in awhile but. I just. Can't keep up. Dev is a great place and I will stay for some time. But. I'm sorry but I can't stay here forever. I'm willing to give the new comers a chance. They deserve it!

All I can tell you is keep posting. Maybe someday you'll be a star.

Less than a 100 people know I exist but.

I'll miss dev.

If I shouldn't leave just tell me.

It's fine.

I work very hard on Dev and. When people critize me of not doing good. I get very sad.

The people here are nice. But. The negative feedback coming from my readers is just too much for me.

I'm very sensitive.

Researching working and writing a Dev post takes me time.

And English isn't my first language. So i get some typos here in there.

I hope you understand how I feel.

I don't know you and thats ok. I didn't know @ben until last month either. There is a saying "many a mickle makes a muckle". Don't quit. Everyone started with few.

I think it likely takes time to build an audience and find your flow. Not to mention, what you're doing is quite difficult — you're writing about highly technical content in a language that isn't your first language.

Keep it up and don't let the naysayers get you down! :-)

Thanks Michael! I'll do my best! I've done a lot of training on my English that I'm started to forget my own language!

Sad you are thinking of leaving us...

Here is some advices I dare to give you anyway for your next articles:

if you do not feel comfortable writing in English, just use a translator tool to help you
observe a lot folks that are making successful posts, you will learn good ways to bring attention on the subject you like to share
do not make "one shot" articles without making drafts, research, correcting some things you took for granted, ask for precisions or read multiples sources to make solid affirmations and raise the quality of your posts: take your time!
add graphics, people love graphics 🤓

Hope this give you some ideas for your next articles.

Also, do not hesitate to come closer to the community by introducing yourself in an article. You could integrate it to your "Why choosing..." serie, like "Why choosing me?" 😉
