Too much of the DX (developer experience) is negatively impacted by a dependency on build tools and deployment pipelines.
GLD (git less development) solves this by allowing you to work directly on the production server.
No build, no deployment, no testing!
Your code is solid gold anyway, so why the heck not?!

Challenge accepted. I will request production server to be installed on my desk so I have the most direct access.
Why not? Because that would be stupid. Git exists for a reason. it has saved my butt many times!(:
