Fine if it does for you, no problem :) The problem is people are spreading this lie about Anders Hejlsberg being creator of TypeScript instead of giving credit to real creators.
When I saw this announcement 7 years ago, by the man himself. I assumed he was heading up the project. I didn't know anything else at the time.
