I've experimented with the times quite a lot and usually do 50 and 10 minutes on normal days and on days that I am not feeling it, switch to 40 minutes and 20 minutes. It also helps break blocks into hours and that works best for me. But I feel everyone should adjust them according to themselves since every person has a different attention span.

Been a long-time follower of Pomodoro and it works best for me. I mostly set up one Pomodoro of 40 mins and 10 mins break after every Pomodoro.
