What about something like React Native or Flutter? Both offer Android/iOS cross-platform, and React experience transfers directly (for React Native, Flutter has a learning curve, especially since a dev likely haven't used Dart before).
Those are great options! If someone is a React developer already then React Native is probably a no-brainer. Flutter is a great choice for cross-platform mobile dev, and so is Xamarin.
I don't see lot of people saying Xamarin is a great choice. They only mention how the authors are not responding to issues. Anyway I think Flutter is a great choice too
