GIT MERGE Quick Reference

This sequence of commands allows you to merge changes from a feature branch (feature-branch) into the development branch and then delete the feature branch both locally and remotely.

1. Switch to Branch: example "Development"

git checkout development

1. Merge Feature Branch to Development:

git merge feature-branch

1. Delete Feature Branch (from Local):

git branch -d feature-branch

1. Delete Feature Branch (from Remote):

git push origin --delete feature-branch
