OMG THIS! So much this! I have been saying for ages now that just changing into proper clothing can shift my mindset from "just one more youtube video" to "let's get things done!" :D

Thank you for this, I'm having a lot of free time until April when I go into graduation. I'm having trouble finding balance in doing "work", since I want to do some things with all the time I have. And, just doing nothing and relaxing, enjoying the free time I have. There are definitely some tips in here I'm going to use!
Your welcome, and thank you for sharing as well. I hear you on trying to find that balance. Late last year I ended up actually leaving my full-time job to create more time for learning code. (That is a future post. lol)
In doing so I also felt a bit overwhelmed by all the free time. From the above list #2, #7, #8, #10 & #16 helped a lot during that time.
I took some time to re-invest in my health, planned out visually what the most important areas to focus on, and then kept my early work schedule since it has worked so well in the past. All of that allowed me to relax (#23) guilt-free as well. :)
You got this! Best of luck with your studies.
I just loved reading this, Gedalya, I need to print this and put it on my wall to help!! My favorite ones were "Painting the Whys" and "Screenshotting Encouragement." I have a hard time staying motivated because I just settle for the way things are and have been done. I need to have an important "WHY?" to keep me going, and I also need validation a lot so saving those forms of praises is such a great idea, for all aspects of life even! Amazing how such little things help!!
Thanks for sharing Linnea. Yea, it is surprising how easy it is to downplay our own worth and accomplishments. I'm so glad you found these helpful.
I know firsthand how good your work is, as I have gotten the opportunity to collab on a few projects with you. Each time demonstrated clearly that you are talented at coding and are determined to really figure out issues as they come up. It genuinely makes it an easy choice to collaborate with you.
(Boom, something to start off your screenshots. π)
Hello.
I have read this, and I'm impressed.
I would like to translate your page into Japanese and publish as a web page.
Can I possibly do that?
Thank you.
Thanks and sure! Please just include a link back to the original post. :)

Awesome!
Great read! I like to schedule my day-to-day tasks, and I prioritize them. I prefer to make plan my day ahead with task management software. It's easier and trackable. I use Todoist and Quire, and so far, I like them.
Great list! I see a lot of habits Iβve also keep doing to stay motivated and productive. Thanks for that sum up!
You are welcome. And that is awesome! Keep it up.
Very inspiring yet also very practical. Kudos!!
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
Very well articulated. Thank you for taking time to put this together.
