Where do you suggest applying for jobs?

I hit tons of dead ends on LinkedIn.

I've gotten more long-term opportunities on platforms like Upwork, that have lead to other temporary roles as well. But gigs and temp work is not what I'm aiming for! lol

LinkedIn for sure, it takes time but reminder to:

  • Update your resume/LinkedIn
  • Send those cold emails
  • Search for job openings
  • Apply for those job openings
  • Remind your referrer to refer you
  • Follow up on your interview results
  • Remind the recruiters to reply
  • Follow up with the companies that ghosted you

Thank you :)

I suggest you to create a portfolio host them using GitHub pages and you can always add your links of Codepen.io, behance, canva, or Envato to it.

Hope that helps.

Not bad, but you could've done more, like telling how much of each stage/module we need to know, before we can move on to the next. Thanks anyways

Awesome!
You made mention of practicing codes and case study... How will a beginner be able to get a case study or sample project when, he or she has never gotten a job

I suggest you to try to observe as many webpages and try to clone it by yourself, there are many clones tutorials on youtube like netflix clone is one such example. Try to go through the tutorial and keep practicing you take inspiration from clones and always try to build your own project gradually. You dont need actual job to build your own side project you can start anytime, now is the best time to build anything believe in yourself and go for it. All the best :)
