Does anyone have some tips about screen sharing with a 4k display? (I.e.: in slack)
I'm currently moving stuff to my MBP screen otherwise it's way to small for anyone who doesn't have a 4k screen and with my desk configuration it's a little awkward. I would much rather share a part of my main screen or something like that.

I know on windows there is a magnifying feature activated with Win+plus. There must be something similar on mac or an app you can get that will do it. It basically just renders your whole screen much bigger and follows your mouse pointer around like your holding a magnifying glass.
Have a search mac os probably has something similar.
Yeah there's the option to activate this as well. Never thought on setting it for the whole screen though. I'll give it a try. That way I won't loose the hdmi audio when switching the resolution
Not sure, but I thought that you can chose to share only part of your screen in slack.
I do have a 4k screen as well, and I use QuickRes macupdate.com/app/mac/45822/quickres to quickly change the screens resolution.
I know in teams you can share only one app so it's usually what I do and keep my app smaller. I'll have to take a look again , I might have missed it
Maybe that is also just for the Enterprise Edition...
That's possible! We're "just" on the basic team plan and I tried it today and can only share the full screen. Might try the resolution change up though
