Hello! My name is Fiona Whittington and I'm a self-taught web developer.
While trying to teach myself how to code, I realized how lonely and overwhelming it was to be a woman starting out in tech. To help other women overcome this challenge, I've has designed a platform called The Bit (www.thebit.tech) that matches self-taught learners to complete online courses. The aim is to make learning how to code more social, fun, and less overwhelming.
One of our users' biggest pain points is a lack of accountability, which prevents them from achieving their learning goals.
