MathJax support on posts

MathJax support on posts

Hi people, newcomer here...

I was trying to bring my posts from my blog to here and noticed that my math formulaes didn't show as expected.
I was wondering if there is MathJax support at all...
The editor guide points to a markdown cheatsheet which made me believe it does support MathJax.

Well my doubts are:

  • Does dev.to support mathematical formulae on posts?
  • Am I allowed to post in my native language or I am limited to english?

Thanks in advance...

PS: I am not a native english speaker, so have patience please.

Hey! I've noticed that in this post you use "guys" as a reference to the entire community, which is not made up of only guys but a variety of community members.

I'm running an experiment and hope you'll participate. Would you consider changing "guys" to a more inclusive term? If you're open to that, please let me know when you've changed it and I'll delete this comment.

For more information and some alternate suggestions, see dev.to/seankilleen/a-quick-experim....

Thanks for considering!

Hi Sean, I've edited the post.
Thanks for pointing this out, I'm am not a native english speaker so I didn't notice that, It's not a mistake I use to make in Portuguese.

No worries! It's very common so I wouldn't even call it a mistake; it's technically correct by the dictionary definition. My hope is that by modifying, we can make others feel that much more welcome. It's a small thing but every bit helps.

Thanks for your consideration!
