A thumbnail for Things playing League of legends has taught me, a noob point of view

I've been playing League of Legends since the end of Season 9, and guess what? I started playing ranked once I reached level 30, and I got stomped, losing most of my games by 70% to 75% in that season and ending up in Iron 3.

If you want to know more about League of Legends, you can watch this [_video](https://youtu.be/u9JdENUoGik)._

After that, I started learning about how tofarm, wave management, and team fight positioning, and I managed to get to bronze 2 after 250 games.

Even after playing for 3 seasons, I'm still a hard stuck noob in bronze and silver XD, I tried my best to learn the fundamentals of these games, but I feel like I still have a lot to learn in order to get a better rank.

But I'm not writing this post to tell my story with league legends, instead, I want to write about how playing this game helped me approach life with a better view and understand life and people better, and below are some points:

For me, League of Legends is like a real-life simulator; you will play with different types of people in different situations, and I can say that this game will make you become the worst version of yourself during the matches.

A game like this will help you learn that winning or losing is about you and not other people. If you want to win more, then you should practice and do a better job.

It also helped me realize that in a lot of cases, blaming other people when they make mistakes will only make things worse, especially if you are on the same team as those people, I don’t just mean League of Legends teams when I say the same team; I mean every other team in every other aspect of our lives.

There is no such myth as super-smart people getting massive results by doing little work or no work, to get good at anything, you must practice, focus, plan, and dedicate some time to it.

League of Legends helped me to know more about my friends' personalities; how they think and play in the league is the same as how they think and live in real life, For me, here are the types of people that I find in a league of legends and in real life :

  • Cool people who never get angry, always stay calm and play for fun. Even if they have a 10-game losing streak, they will keep playing, Another important thing about these people is that they have no problem playing with other players who are at a lower skill level, they just play with them and try to teach them about the game and make them a better player.
  • Another type of people’s personality is the titled perfectionist who will get angry and lose his mind if he or one of his teammates miss played, and by miss playing I mean missing skill shots, dying in the early phases of the game, going into some stupid fights with the enemies team, or missing a smite on a dragon or a Baron, once that happens this type of players will start cursing, flaming everyone in the team, and asking them to forfeit because he doesn’t want to play anymore, personally I think that the problem with these players mentality is that they expect someone who just started playing and his rank is bronze or silver, to know everything and do no mistakes and play like a professional player, for me this type of persons are not realistic at all.
  • Finally, there are delusional players who believe that losing or being stuck in a low rank is due to their teammates and the Riot ranking system.

In the end, in my opinion, I think that the league and those competitive games are just like any other area of life, if you stick to a plan, practice, and dedicate a good amount of time to them, you will be better.
