Print a Worksheet:

If you want to print a worksheet from Excel, then follow the below steps.
- First, you need to click the File Tab.
- Then, you need to select the Print option from the menu.
- Now, click the Print button on the right pane.
- Finally, the current worksheet will be printed based on the default page settings.
Steps to Print a Workbook:
To print the entire workbook that contains two or more sheets, follow the below instructions.
- You need to click the File Tab in the current worksheet.
- Then, select the Print option from the menu.
- You need to select the Print Entire Workbook option from the Settings section.
Note:
- Excel always prints the current worksheet by default setting “Print Active Sheets“.
- It only prints the active sheets in the workbook.
Print a Selection Range:
You can print only the selection range in Excel. To do this, follow the below steps.
- You need to select the cell ranges that you want to print in the current worksheet.
- Then, on the File Tab, select the Print option from the menu.
- You need to select the Print Selection option from the Settings drop-down list.
Collated or Uncollated Print:
To do this, follow the below steps.
- If you choose the Collated option, it will print the first copy, then print the second copy, and so on.
- If you choose the Uncollated option, it will print three copies of page 1, then three copies of page 2, and so on.
- Click the File Tab in the current workbook.
- Then, select the Print option from the menu.
- Now, you need to select the Collated or Uncollated option from the Collated setting drop-down list.
Print Orientation:
- There is two orientation in Excel. They are Portrait Orientation and Landscape Orientation (Print Options).
- To do this, You need to select the Print option from the File Tab.
- Then, select the Portrait Orientation option.
Page Margin Setting:
- Go to the print setting page, then click the Margin setting drop-down list.
- Click the Custom Margins option, it will open the Page Setup window.
- Then, click the Margins tab. You can set the page margin value such as Top, Left, Bottom, Right, etc.
Note:
- You can also drag the margin lines to change the page margins. You need to click the Show Margins at the right bottom of the print setting window.
Print Scaling:
If the worksheet has plenty of rows or columns and you want to print all the data on one page, then you can use the scaling method.
- There are totally four scaling choices in Excel.
- Fit All Rows on One Page – This option will shrink the printout so that it fits on one page.
- No Scaling – It will print sheets at their actual size.
- Fit Sheet on One Page – This will print all data on just one page.
- Fit All Columns on One Page – It will shrink the printout, so it can fit on one page.
Quick Print:
- To print the active worksheet quickly, you need to click the Quick Print option.
- After clicking this option, the current worksheet will be printed instantly.
- You can also click the CTRL + P Keys to print the current worksheet.
