I've been slowly getting into woodworking, you can get started with a few tools that aren't terribly expensive. Though it's easy to keep spending money on new stuff once you get started. If you're in an apartment it can be difficult to find space for this hobby, thought Makerspaces can be good for this.

Cooking is a really easy one to get into, there's tons of videos and recipes online for free. Plus you need to eat, so kill two birds with one stone.
