Vercel launched a Blob service recently even though it is in private beta. It means most of us do not have access to yet and hence unable to use any of their code that involves Vercel Blob.
However, is it really worth using this Blob service ? It is extremely expensive based on discussions on internet.

On other hand if you wish to replace Vercel Blob with your own cloud service storage such as Google Cloud Storage or Amazon AWS S3, it is fairly trivial. Here is an excellent tutorial on how to replace Vercel Blob with Google Cloud Storage.
