If yes, how do you think life came to be complete?

Hey there! So what I think is life will never complete as long as we keep on writing new chapters of our story each and every day. There will always be ups, downs, wins and losses. But what's important is we have the absolute freedom to choose how we write that story - and we get to change course whenever we want. Knowing and accepting that fact paradoxically makes my life feel complete! Hope all that makes sense π
Your answer puzzled me! However thanks for your comment thought π€
Well it depends on what "complete" means, for me it is not because there is a lot of things i want to do in the future that i can't do now so i still have a long way to go.
Again it depends on what complete means for you
I have no clarity about it. But in my option it's a relief and the and the thought that we no longer have anything to do in this life. It's a carefree state whether or not there is a life in my body...
You have a point, but sometimes you may miss the days when life wasn't complete yet it's my opinion tho tell me if you agree or not
Yes. Of course!
I think my life is not complete. I have a lot of dreams and aspirations that I want to achieve. I think my life will never be completed until I die. I see the completion of a life like a book. The last chapter will describe the last things I do before I die.
I know you want to take "completion" on a "whole" perspective. But I don't know if my life is whole. I might consider it's whole, but then, one day I might discover something that I didn't know I need it.
Nevertheless, I thank you for this post. I haven't though of this for a long time.
thanks @jeoxs :)
your comments make me happy π€
It's a pleasure to make you happy! π€
Great question! I'm in the same boat as you, never felt like that nor do I have an idea what would make my life feel complete lol. Kinda going back to your "lifelong dreams", Although it is something I think about constantly, but can never come to a conclusion. π€
It's amazing to count what I thought like you π β¨
It's good to be grateful, fulfilled and satisfied, and it's also good to be enthusiastic and motivated to do things and make progress. We need a healthy balance.
I think it's more important to do something, than to do the right thing. Once a person starts acting and taking steps it's easy to change direction and find a good way to go.
I agree with that :)
For me, it is now complete but not perfect.
Why? May I know what the reason is?
My completeness is due to my wife, children, grandchildren, our pups and our faith in Christ.
It does not include perfection. We are not perfect.
No for me, I don't think it can be even possible as long as I still have things I'm chasing and many I want/need to do. I think it possible to feel satisfied though but "complete" may be a whole new level. It would be an interesting feeling if anyone actually felt like really complete I would be jealous of that :)
yep!
I once felt my life was complete when I got a job in which I used to make more than the average where I live. I got stuck in that mindset for years (if that makes sense).
However, last year I took a moment to think about my decisions and whether I was happy with it. I came to the conclusion that my life was not complete and there is a long way until that happens.
Until this day, I am still unsure what will make me feel my life is complete (yet).
interestingβ¨
to all possibilities, it will never complete
