Create an account in zkSync mainnet and test it.
To get started, go to the site itself - https://wallet.zksync.io/account and connect your metamask to the site.
Then click “ Add Funds ”.
Then we either press “ Select Token ” and select ETH, or you will have, like me, immediately write ETH. After you have chosen, enter the amount of ETH that you are ready to add to your account.
Also, you will need to pay a commission, on top you will write: Fees: ~ * $ , for example, I have $ 5.20, although yesterday it was another $ 21, so you can try to create an account later if the commission is large. It seems to be small during the day, big at night.
Then we press the “ Add Funds ” button and confirm the transaction in Metamask.
Now we can try to send a little of our ETH, for this we go to the “ Send” tab.
Click “ Authorize to Send on zkSync ” and click “ Autorize to Sign account activation ”, and confirm the subscription in Metamask, you may need to confirm it 2 times, that is, click on the “ Autor ... ” button
Then we create a second account in metamask and take its address. Paste this address into the “ Address ” line. Then enter the amount of ETH that you want to throw. Click " Send on zkSync ".
Also, you will need to pay a commission of about $ 2-3, it will need to be paid 1 time to activate your account.
Now let's try to dump ETH via L1. By the way, what are L1 and L2 you can read in the article .
After the transaction, we return here - https://wallet.zksync.io/transaction/transfer and click " Send to Ethereum (L1) ".
In the “ Address ” field you will have your account, or rather your address. That is, you can withdraw ETH to your wallet this way. Enter your withdrawal amount, note that the commission will be 3–10$+.
We then confirm all transactions. The withdrawal lasts from 30 minutes to 7 hours, maybe a little earlier.
Mintim NFT.
Go to the site - https://www.pinata.cloud/
Next, click “ Try for free ” and register an account.
Next, press the “ Upload ” button, then “ File ”, then “ Select File ” and select any photo / screen.
Copy the CID phrase.
We go to this site - https://codebeautify.org/ and paste the copied CID phrase as in the screenshot. Then we download the file.
Then we return to the site - https://www.pinata.cloud / and upload the json file downloaded from the codebeautify site. We also copy the CID phrase.
Now back to the zkSync website - https://wallet.zksync.io/account/nft
Go to the NFTs section , press “ + Mint NFT ”.
Now paste your CID phrase and click on “ Mint NFT ”. We confirm transactions in a metamask.
