Professional : Not a bad day. Started reviewing and working on some pull requests. Followed up on some community questions. Then spent the rest of the day converting a proof of concept I made into a Web Component and publishing a test component to put into a sample app. I'm like 99% there. The way I'm implementing it into the sample app in in a dialog, so it's not showing the Web Component initially and that is setting some of the Web Component elements' to 0 which is causing errors. If I just place the Web Component on the page, things work. I think I'm going to need a Resize Observer. Other than that, I should be good to go.
Personal : Last night there was a tornado warning where I was. It was super windy. I went through some tracks for the radio show. I worked on the layout of my side project. Got some place holder elements for the different parts of the UI. Ended the night watching an episode of "Blue Eye Samurai". It's pretty good.
Going to spend like an hour trying to see if the ResizeObserver will fix my issue with the Web Component. I want to get it to a point where others can test it out and give me feedback while I finalize the Web Component and put together some documentation for it. Hopefully it works. From what I've been reading on MDN, it could be what I'm looking for. After that, I'll probably pick up some projects off Bandcamp and start putting together the social media posts for Friday. If I have time, I'd like to start working on the animation for my side project since I have all the place holder elements in. Then end the night watching "Blue Eye Samurai". About to eat some dinner and get my night started.
