Professional : Not a bad day. There was company townhall and got hear some news about what's happening and what's next. Spent the rest of the day working on updating and refactoring this repo that I got a lot done yesterday. Today I was cleaning up the code and updating the ReadMe to reflect any changes I made. I tried to keep the code as consistent with the other repos. It's amazing how much I miss until I see it in the Pull Request. haha Things like using both single and double quotes. I'm terrible. I use whatever I happen to type. haha Small stuff like that. Everything works, but I want to make sure it's consistent through out the code. I think seeing the code not in my code editor with different colors highlights things I may have missed. Yeah, pretty chill day. Got one more ticket for this sprint and like 2 days left. This last one is going to take a lot more refactoring to be like the other repos. We'll see how long it takes.
Personal : So I went through some tracks for the radio show. Even though I have a lot already set from the work I did in the previous weeks, I still want to keep a good cushion. I just need to get the tracks I'll start the show off with. The others for the polls we hold are good for a few weeks. After that, I went and wrote some code to try and find a workaround my roadblock that I ran into about saving settings without a database. I think I'm pretty close. The plan is to create a file like settings.json and then upload that. The issue I'm running into is that I think I can't create the file on the hosting service I'm using, I think. I need to do more research and playing around with the code. Ended the night watching a couple of episodes of "Spy x Family".
Basically going to do a rerun of last night. Go through some tracks, work on my side project and watch some anime. There's got to be a way to get this thing to work. I'm probably missing something sensible right in front of my face.
