- Saturday : Got some stuff done for the radio show over the holiday break for the radio show. Stayed up pretty late on Friday to finish up. Got to the station a little later than normal. Still had enough time to set up and get ready. Had a good time as usual. The recording of this week's show is at https://kNOwBETTERHIPHOP.com
Sunday : I don't know where the day went. It flew by! I did my study sessions over at https://untilit.works and got my normal chores completed. The stand for the 3D printer came in and I put that together. Pretty good day.
Professional : Today had more meetings than a normal Monday. Probably because of the break. Came up with a game plan with my co-worker for the project we've been working on. It's looking pretty good. Looking to have this first MVP out by the end of this week. It'll give me time to work on some other stuff before I take off for the holiday.
Personal : So, my 3D printer is here and I've got the stand set up. I've been experiencing analysis paralysis. haha. I followed the instructions and took out the screws, took off the plastic. I think all I need to do is just turn it on, download an app and some software, insert the filament, and I should be good to go. I don't know, I just feel nervous like something may go wrong. haha. I just need to get the first print out of the way and I think it will be fine. Just have to do it. The thing with coding is that if I make a mistake, there's nothing physical that breaks. I can just try it again. I got this printer because it's supposed to be very beginner friendly. I just need to do it. Time waits for no man.
The plan for tonight is to go through tracks for the radio show and while I'm listening to music, download the apps and software I need to get the printer running. Not sure if I'll print anything tonight because I'll probably spend some time on my work project so that my co-worker in the UK can jump on it tomorrow morning their time so we can wrap this up, because I have a bunch of meetings and stuff this week. My plan is to focus on the 3D printing stuff during my holiday break anyway. I just want to get to the point where I can hit the ground running during my break. Maybe print some test models and stuff people suggest to help make the printing experience better. Going to eat dinner and get back to work.
