Absolutely, completely fair to say that visual programming may be a version of the flying car - we think it'll happen but it won't. But that said, the same could be said about machine learning, functional programming, among other things - which improve with each rotation. I think some of the stuff in here show some real traction in some new areas that excite me a lot, but only time will tell
