I'm putting all my stuf while learning FSWD on GitHub. For now mostly in private repo's but when I'm going to interviews I make sure relevant code is accessible to be scrutinised. :)
Once I'm gaining more traction I'm also expanding my GitHub profile (readme) page and build a nice looking portfolio. But I prefer to first build enough marketable skills and then interview.
The interviewing part is not that hard for me. It's just matching skills with what a company needs. Stay calm, just imagine talking to friends and of course be honest!

I go to interviews with the mindset 'that I want to find out if the company is a good fit for me'. This results in me asking them many questions about the company, the position and how they work in general.
I always study a company, position and the people before I go to an interview, asking relevant questions is easy then.
My experience is that people tent to appreciate this approach.

Absolutely! Showing interest in the company you are applying for is always good, and if you ask the right questions you can also see if any 'red flags' pop out.
