πŸ–₯️ Apple explained why the Mac mini's power button is located under the case

πŸ’¬ During an interview, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing Greg Joswiak and Vice President John Ternus explained why the decision to move the power button to the bottom of M4 Mac mini was made.

They responded with two points:

1️⃣ First, people are more likely to put the Mac mini into sleep mode rather than turn it off, and if there is a need for the button, it's perfectly feasible to reach it with a finger, albeit by lifting the computer a bit; One senior executive event noted:
I can't even remember the last time I turned on a Mac.

2️⃣ Second, the computer's internals are very compact, and a physical button in the place of the ports would be almost impossible to fit, but there's a separate and safe place for it at the bottom that won't conflict with other components of the device.
