The much-anticipated AWS Community Day Malaysia 2023 kicked off with an inspiring keynote session delivered by Peter Murray, the Country General Manager of AWS Malaysia and Asia Emerging Markets, accompanied by Lip Guan Teh, the Chief Technology Officer at Payments Network Malaysia. This dynamic duo set the stage for an unforgettable day of learning, networking, and exploring the latest trends in the world of cloud computing.

📝 Session 1: Composing integration patterns in serverless microservices

@donnieprakoso focuses on challenges faced by teams building microservices architecture when integrating with other applications and external services. He highlights the benefits of adopting loosely coupled integration patterns and leveraging event-based architecture and AWS CDK. Real-world use cases provide practical insights into choosing the right integration technology.

He showcased how AWS CI/CD tools and Terraform can seamlessly deploy infrastructure on AWS. Apart from the above seesion there was one special track for AWS Gameday.

AWS GameDay is a unique, hands-on, and interactive learning experience to help participants deepen their understanding of AWS services and practice real-world scenarios in a gamified environment.
During GameDay, teams face challenging and fun technical challenges, such as building and managing cloud architectures, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance, while competing for points and prizes. Participants work collaboratively, applying their AWS skills and creativity to solve complex problems and learn best practices.
AWS GameDay fosters teamwork, critical thinking, and rapid problem-solving, making it an engaging and effective way to sharpen AWS expertise and gain practical insights into cloud computing.
