Hey I'm looking to begin my Software Developer career this summer. So I am looking for my first developer job outside of my current 2 barista jobs. I've been learning on my own through different free and paid learning material online. Currently, I am completing the Meta Front End Developer Certification. I currently understand HTML CSS Bootstrap and Javascript. Now just developing those skills, understanding the process and logic that would go into real-world application and finishing a portfolio.
Was looking to join community and help since I've been on my own!

I’m Matthijs Pouwels, a 23 year old entrepreneur based in Eindhoven and I'm making a career switch! For the past three years, I’ve been specializing in optimizing trading algorithms for forex, commodities, and indices. My track record now spans over 24 months, and through my company, I’ve made investing accessible to everyone under EU and UK licensing.
I’m still passionate about my company, but I’m building it at my own pace, through YouTube videos and branding, because traditional marketing completely drains me. I want my company to feed me, not exhaust me.
At the same time, I’m expanding my skill set through Codecademy, looking for job opportunities that actually give me energy, not just from the work itself, but also from the environment. Corporate life isn’t for me, so I’m drawn more toward the nonprofit space.
