Fun fact about myself: my first contact with programming was at Physics college with linear algebra using Fortran and I hated it. Unfortunately, took a lot of time to truly understand what was happening. How was your first contact with programming?
Java and C++ in highschool... I think it was C++... it's been a while.
I recently started a project with some seismologists using a Fortran app built in 80's. I'm a newbie when it comes to Fortran but it's kinda neat. Did you ever get a chance to repair your relationship with Fortran?
Programming didn't make sense for me either at first. I learned it because of my father. He had to write a text based game in C as part of one of his university courses a long time ago. I loved the game he made, especially that it was possible to modify anything in it. Reading code didn't make any sense at first, but the game was fun (and, as it turned out, so was programming).

Hi, my name is Hamza and I'm from Pakistan.
I've recently graduated with an Associate Degree in Computer Science and completed a 5-months bootcamp hosted by DigitalOcean where I learned (for the first time in my life) about Linux, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, Docker, and more.
For Software Development, I'm learning Python / Django for a promising career. In the past, I've worked on different projects in NextJS and vanilla JS.
When I'm not sitting with a laptop in-front of me, 10-20 browser tabs opened, Visual Studio Code window running on my laptop screen while all the browser tabs showing their beauty on my monitor screen; I make content (even though I still use laptop for that). I love creating educational content on all the social media platforms where I have an account on.
So, if you're looking for good content (and not the cringe stuff), follow me.
I love networking! š

Hi everyone. I'm Chinner and I'm looking to improve my coding skills. I've written a few small apps in python, AHK and WinDev but as I'm completely self taught I thought it might be a good idea to join a community and learn a bit more :-)
