I am very excited to connect DEV!
Hey everyone. I'm happy that I've come across Dev.to - I'm looking forward to learning, growing and sharing my future projects. I'm here because I have always had an interest in programming and all things technology. I suffered from a problem whereby I would commit to the most adventurous project me and my dear old friend could think of without any understanding of the fundamental principles. I am back after a few years, with a new mindset and some health challenges that threaten my way of life as I know it. I have a demanding physical job and may need to give that up in the near future, this is why I am approaching this journey that I was once on in a new light. The basics are where I'm starting and I will NOT get carried away this time and burnt out before it's begun.
I'm looking for like-minded people that want to grow with me. Get in contact if you fancy it.
Hi there, my name is Simon and I'm currently building a UI test coverage tool called Testmap. It delivers instant, visual coverage reports for web browser tests, with no additional setup required. This tool pinpoints missed coverage areas and visually maps your test suite to your application, providing clear, intuitive reports. The goal is to ensure that everyone on your team, regardless of their technical expertise, can easily identify testing gaps and take appropriate action. I'm still in the early development stages, so your feedback would be amazing: info.appsurify.com/testmap-ui-cove...

Hi Ali,
I am not very experienced but one thing I want you to no miss out is to use debugger tools. Also, use lots of console log statements in your project to know how the behaves. There is a popular saying:
"The difference between an experienced and noob developer is that the experienced one uses console log 10-100 times more than the noob one."

Hi guys! I'm Arup, a software developer experienced in web dev and middleware development. Currently learning software architecture and design. I am very enthusiastic to learn new things in tech. Excited to be here and hope to learn, grow and contribute.
With a proven track record in leading teams through complex projects, I excels in enhancing security, optimizing systems, and integrating advanced technologies to drive user engagement and satisfaction.
My biggest challenge at Galaxycoin was integrating Chainlink and LayerZero protocols. It wasn't hard to connect 'em, but keeping everything secure was crucial. I chose Hans' audit method over Tincho's because security's key when dealing with interchain stuff. Writing invariant tests for core functions was tough, but it taught me a ton about smart contract security best practices. That was a real eye-opener for me.
I am Mohammad Rashid Ansari, a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Lucknow. I have a deep passion for technology, particularly in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. During my academic journey, I have gained hands-on experience in various programming languages like Python, C++, and SQL, as well as in data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
My journey into Machine Learning began with curiosity and a desire to solve real-world problems using data-driven approaches. I have worked on projects like Brain Tumor Detection using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Kidney Tumor Analysis using Deep Learning, which has further fueled my interest in exploring how technology can contribute to advancements in healthcare.
I am excited to be a part of this community where I can connect with like-minded individuals, share my experiences, learn from others, and contribute meaningfully. I'm always open to discussing ideas, collaborating on projects, and learning new things. Looking forward to engaging with all of you!

Hello, I am an old fart that comes from the computer dark ages. Currently digging (deep) into Lazarus programing and have some small windows applications that I want to distribute from a WebSite. Snag I have run into is when user downloads my Installer, windows promptly flags it as a Potential Danger to the user's computer. My Installer and its content is digitally signed (VeriSign). I understand why it is happening (not yet recognized as a legitimate app) and am trying to find a workaround. If only someone can steer me in the right direction.....

Currently, I am focusing on checkout extensibility and Shopify functions.
Welcome welcome!

Hi Ali,
I am not very experienced but one thing I want you to no miss out is to use debugger tools. Also, use lots of console log statements in your project to know how the behaves. There is a popular saying:
"The difference between an experienced and noob developer is that the experienced one uses console log 10-100 times more than the noob one."

Hello Everyone! I am so happy to finally be here after such a long battle with the server. Its a conundrum..

Let's collaborate!!
