My name is Kendra and my goal is to be a frontend developer.
I have been learning to code for a few years now. As a stay-at-home mom, it has taken me a while to learn. I have done a frontend bootcamp and a few online courses with some breaks in between.
My children are older now and in school, so I am now pushing myself more to get out there and get hired. I still have a ways to go, but I'm ready for the ride. Hopefully I can make some connections here, help others, receive some help/feedback. I've been exploring the dev community for a little while and I love the positive atmosphere I see here.

I am new to the forum and programming/ development in general. I am currently working through Gersting and Schneider's 2010 CSCI textbook and would like a little feedback on some problem sets. Apart from that I am about to begin a full-stack development course from UT Austin and the McCombs school of business.
I am nervous/anxious about the whole thing as I know enough to know just how much of an uncharted ocean the whole enterprise is to me. I will be learning HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node.js, Mongo DB, React.js, SQL, No SQL and I don't know how to properly implement a 'for' statement in any of the above languages.
In my pursuit of not drowning while swimming from islet to islet I am here looking for some mentorship, guidance, sympathetic ears and individuals.
What I am about to do is risky, it will be difficult, and I will most likely be facing a barrage of reasons/excuses why I should just abandon the whole endeavor.
I try to get my dopamine where I can in the form of small victories wherever I can find them. Even setting up this account and writing this post makes me feel like I have taken another step in a ten-thousand mile journey towards a rewarding and successful career as a web/software developer.

I code with blocks from scratch and one day, I just came to my dad and showed him the game that I made, and he loved it so much he said to me, "I'm gonna get you a teacher that gonna help you learn" from this day I was just on my computer in the evening every day for several hours when I was nine year old we finally found a group of children like me so we go and learn together JS in Minecraft for half a year after this Course I felt like I'm in the sky, but then I start to learn JAVA it was so bad that they had to switch the teacher in the middle of the Course we learn how to build mods for Minecraft after I finish this I took a break for half a year and from now I do projects that I want and still trying to get good in py and js so I try godot and now I build terminal games and app

I think i will describe myself as an engineer. You might ask why do i talk like this?. The reason behind this is that over the years while programming in java and acting as a web publisher i have come across some things in my experience which seem to be missing in web development and AI and am beginning to realize its time to put up a roll call to co-author and develop some of these web apps for some of my brilliant ideas like this one i called the dig-bit cheque.
I will appreciate to have in my team pros who know how to scale around concurrent programming paradigms. Because i think this project is best suited for an IDE like VS i have set working there and will appreciate to use this great opportunity to invite like minds to join me

After completing just 2 semesters I knew it wasn't for me chance after completing it I found myself as an intern at a software house learning Python. I'll be honest, it is tough but one thing is for sure, if I can do a degree in which I had almost no interest, I sure can do this.
