I'm excited to announce a new DEV theme... "Ten X Hacker". It's the only theme you'll use if you are a ninja rockstar magician. It features the iconic green on black text which signifies elite programming skillz.
👉 You can change your interface config in /settings/misc.
This is one of three changes to user config. The second change is the ability to set monospace font for the main body of DEV posts. I felt like this was a necessary complement to the ten x theme. I personally use sans serif, but you do you.
The third change...
You can now set your navbar to "static" (as opposed to the default of fixed). A lot of folks prefer a navbar which does not stay put at the top of the window. The fixed navbar is great for quick navigation and access to the menu, but some find it distracting while reading. There is no right or wrong in this preference debate, so we are now offering both configurations.

This PR adds a couple fun, but admittedly useless, config options.
It also adds one not-so-useless option: The ability to configure the navbar to be static instead of fixed. A lot of people have strongly held feelings about this and I think it's a nice thing to offer through configuration.
Future config options for the navbar could be an option where it slides up when you scroll down and down when you scroll up.

With font as Comic Sans gets even better. 👌
Thanks sir for the latest theme addition, I really loved it, immediately switched to it.
But one thing I noticed is that the links are no longer looking different than the normal text. Is there some caching going on at my end, not sure. But just letting the forum know, is there a better way to report this.

Hey, so the 10x engineer theme is quite nice as an accessibility theme, considering that the contrast is high and the gradients are simple.
One request though: hyperlinks are not marked in any way. Could they perhaps be underlined, like a real hacker would? 😁
Love the static navbar setting so that I can enjoy the extra screen space when reading on my phone 👀. Makes me wonder if a similar thing can be done with the reaction bar.

Awesome! One thing I noticed is that monospace isn't applied to titles in posts (or titles in general).
But still I switched to the new theme and monospace, will try it out for a couple of days.
I am finding myself hacking away 10x better already. It actually works! 🤯😎
I love that you've all added comic sans as a font issue. (yes yes it's ugly but it helps with reading .... readability ...)
