Woohoo! It’s time to announce the winners of the Computer Science Challenge.
We challenged you all to explain a computer science concept in 256 characters or less. In return, we got to see all the different ways creativity was stretched when explaining concepts such as recursion, big o notation, cache memory, and more!
We received so many fantastic submissions that we did not think it made sense to just pick one submission for a one-prompt challenge. For the first-time ever, we have decided to award five winners for this community challenge.
Our five winners will each receive a gift from the DEV Shop and an exclusive badge on their DEV profile.
All Participants with a valid submission will receive a completion badge on their DEV profile.
What’s next?
We’ll be launching the Wix Studio Challenge tomorrow (June 26) with our first-ever guest judge @ania_kubow. Ania is a prolific software developer, educator, and course creator best known for her popular YouTube channel with over 400,000 subscribers!

On July 10, we’ll be launching the Build Better on Stellar: Smart Contract Challenge:

Make sure to follow each challenge tag so you don’t miss our announcements!
Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Computer Science Challenge. See you next time!

I like how the winner for Recursion is just an infinite loop
It's pretty funny, although, recursion is not an infinite loop 😅
Supposed to be sarcasm... I guess a correct answer wasn't a criteria smh
