Building a personal is not limited only to the influencers, marketers or agencies is for everyone who wants to create number of opportunities. The strong social presence creates a opportunities that you never imagined but wait as developer we need to build Personal Brand or Social Media Presence? so the answer is Big Yes and Small No. πŸ™Œ

We already know video based content is growing so rapidly like Youtube, Instagram, Tik Tok and etc. Text based content is also amazing way to share your knowledge and you can use platforms like Hashnode, dev Community, Medium,Ghost and etc. to create text based content. As a developer you need to pick some tools to learn like how to use video editing software tools like openshot, short cut, DaVinci Resolve and etc. Some Photo Editing skills and basic about color combinations that's it you are good to go towards you Content Creation Journey!

Always keep in mind content creation takes time to grow its not like one day shot you did and its started growing nothing like that, You need to be consistent and patience at same time. You have to work on different things like editing, script writing and tools to learn and so on.. but it worth at the end of the of journey. ✈

There is also Dark side of Content Creation some people will cop your work or negative comments are there but don't worry with that stuff as you grow people will understand.   1. First things first don't pick random things pick only necessary things and platforms if you're going to create text based content or blogging pick only one platform don't write on every platforms.

  2. One name for all socials rule it's easy for people to know the person if person have same username on every social platforms. Pick only one and unique name.

  3. Profile picture should be sound professional or looks great like matches with content you share so having well profile picture matters a lot.

  4. Bio is more important limited words and need keep short and more informative which describes your work like if you are writer then mention something like Tech Writer or Creative Writer sharing knowledge with writing articles something like that. It helps people to understand your content better.

  5. Community Engagement is also there, Try to find out active communities which supports the type of content you creates, some communities are available on discord and some of them have slack channel just search little bit you will get the communities.

  6. Research and Quality of the content is highly important only share those things which you are better with don't share random things to get numbers on your profile because this is not right approach to do it!
